There's plenty happening in Scotland's Highest Villages this weekend, so here's a great opportunity to take the family for a fun visit to the Lowther Hills.

It's been a rather busy Autumn since we finally got a lease over Lowther Hill at the end of September. A new line of snowfence is now marked down and ready to be erected, we have started planting trees on what will be Scotland's first wooded ski slope, and there has been good progress in the construction of the clubhouse at Lowther Hill.

On Saturday 1st of December we are hosting a Ski Club Open Day alongside our Lowther Hills Ski Sale.

Everybody is invited to come along, grab a bargain at the Ski Sale, enjoy a visit to the slopes, and learn about the progress achieved so far as we build the only ski centre in the south of Scotland.

Between 12pm - 3pm - Meet us at the Lowther Hills Ski Sale at the Leadhills Hall in Ramsay Road, Leadhills, ML12 6YA.
There is parking space available in the square, in front of the hall. The Hopetoun Arms Hotel has parking space available for customers at the rear of the building.

Between 1pm - 4pm - Come to see the new clubhouse and slopes at Lowther Hill
Have a leisurely walk to Lowther Hill to see work we've done so far and meet volunteers who will be happy to answer your questions. If you haven't been to Lowther Hill before, you can find some directions here. It's likely to be cold, so please dress for the weather on Lowther Hill.
