We need your help to raise £9,900 to purchase a snow groomer which could double the number of skiable days at Lowther Hill.

In just one year our dedicated volunteers have donated over 1,400 volunteer hours to building our ski field on Lowther Hill.

A snow groomer would help us move our dream one step closer to reality.

WHY DO WE NEED A SNOW GROOMER?

Snow groomers, also know as piste bashers, are an essential piece of equipment for any skiing facility. Snow groomers help to move drifts of snow around to areas with less snow. They compact the snow and create a much better surface for skiing and snowboarding. A well pisted snow surface is of particular help to beginners and children, helping them to enjoy snowsports for the first time.

WHEN WILL WE GET THE SNOW GROOMER?

We will purchase the machine as soon as we reach the target. We've already located a PB130D piste basher which will suit our purposes perfectly. It has been put aside for us on the condition that we raise the funds as soon as we can. We've already organised a huge cycle sportive and now we're appealing to snowlovers and skiers and tech enthusiasts alike to help us crowdfund our snowgroomer.
